Connect with the neighbor as soon as you commit
Waiting for a hand-off to protected direct connection
What We Heard
A volunteer told us the hardest part was not the mowing — it was waiting for contact details after offering to help, which made scheduling slow and uncertain.
What Improved
Approved volunteers who commit to a request can now reach the neighbor directly through the platform’s protected calling and messaging — no more waiting on a manual hand-off — while everyone’s personal contact information stays private. Sensible daily limits and quiet-hours protections keep it safe for both sides.
Why It Matters
Visits get scheduled in hours instead of days, and neighbors hear from their volunteer sooner.

“The bottleneck for me is the waiting and following up to get the contact info.”
