Service members — MOVSM-qualifying service
Active-duty service members (all branches) can earn MOVSM-qualifying volunteer service. Providing free lawn care to veterans, older adults, and neighbors in need is the kind of direct, sustained civilian community service the MOVSM recognizes. Requirements vary by branch, so consult your chain of command. We provide an official hour verification letter on nonprofit letterhead to attach to your branch’s nomination form (for example, DA Form 638).
