Extend the Safety Net — Together
We partner with senior centers, social service agencies, faith communities, case managers, and nonprofits who already serve the people we’re trying to reach. Together, we connect more older adults, veterans, and neighbors in need with free, volunteer-powered yard work relief.
Who We Help Together
Your organization already serves people who need help. We provide the volunteers and the infrastructure to get their yards taken care of.
Older Adults
Seniors aging in place who can no longer safely maintain their own yards. Many face code violations, HOA fines, or simply can’t keep up.
Veterans
Service members and their families who need yard help due to deployment, disability, age, or transition challenges.
Neighbors in Need
People with disabilities, those facing temporary hardship, and families caring for loved ones who need a hand with the yard.
How It Works for Resource Partners
No contracts. No paperwork. No cost. Here’s how we work together.
Identify Someone Who Needs Help
A client, member, or community resident who can’t maintain their yard. Older adults, veterans, people with disabilities, and neighbors facing hardship are all eligible.
Connect Them With Us
Have them call 862-66-MOWER, visit iwanttomowyourlawn.com/client-signup, or submit a request on their behalf if they don’t have internet access.
We Match Them With a Volunteer
Our system matches the request to a nearby volunteer. The volunteer reaches out directly and schedules a visit. We handle the logistics, insurance, and follow-up.
The Mission So Far
Trusted Community Connectors
If your organization serves overlapping populations, we should be working together. Different organizations may serve similar communities, and that’s a feature — not a bug. Together, we expand the safety net.
Senior Centers & Area Agencies on Aging
Connect the older adults you serve with free volunteer yard work when they can’t keep up.
Social Workers & Case Managers
Add IWTMYL to your resource toolkit. Connect clients who need yard help — no cost, no paperwork for your office.
Faith Communities
Churches, synagogues, mosques, and faith groups already caring for neighbors. Let us help with the yards.
Housing & Disability Resources
Residents in your programs may need yard help to stay in compliance or age in place safely.
Aligned Nonprofits
Organizations serving overlapping populations — senior services, disability advocacy, food banks, veteran support. Let’s connect the dots.
Family Support Organizations
Help families caring for aging parents or relatives with disabilities find yard relief.
