Every town page deserves a friendly face. Captains are local volunteers who help Las Vegas neighbors find us, welcome new volunteers, and keep an eye out for yards that need a hand.
What a Captain does

Your first name appears on the Las Vegas town page as the local point of pride — with a link to your Helper Card so neighbors can see you’re verified.
🌿 Welcome new volunteers
When someone new joins in Las Vegas, you’re the one who says hello and shares what works locally.
👀 Keep an eye out
Spot a yard that needs help? Submit a Mow Notice. Hear about a neighbor in a tough season? Point them our way.
Honest fine print: this is recognition and light coordination, not a job. No quotas, no shifts, no required hours — most Captains spend an hour or two a month. You can step back anytime, and service is never guaranteed by any one person.
The ladder
- Neighbor Care Captain — one town, yours.
- Area Captain — a few neighboring towns, once you’ve found your rhythm.
- Regional Lead — mentor Captains across a wider region.
