WAYNE, NJ — We’re thrilled to officially share that I Want To Mow Your Lawn Inc., a New Jersey–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has been selected to represent the entire Northeast region in the 2025 Kubota Tractor Corporation Hometown Proud® Grant Program — one of only ten nonprofits chosen nationwide from thousands of applicants.
This national recognition honors grassroots organizations strengthening their communities in meaningful, hands-on ways. For us, that means continuing our mission of providing free lawn care and landscaping relief for seniors, veterans, disabled homeowners, and neighbors in need.
A $25,000 Award + $25,000 in Equipment to Power Community Impact
As part of the 2025 grant, Kubota awarded our organization:
-
$25,000 in funding, and
-
$25,000 in Kubota equipment
Thanks to Kubota Tractor Corporation and the local NY/NJ dealer Marshall Machinery, we selected two key pieces of equipment to expand our volunteer-driven work:
-
A Kubota BX sub-compact tractor — ideal for accessibility projects, cemetery cleanups, and larger-scale community service days.
-
A Kubota commercial stand-on mower (SZ series) — increasing efficiency for weekly, monthly, and one-day service events supporting veterans and older adults.

Together, this support strengthens our ability to host larger community events, maintain open spaces, and rapidly assist homeowners across Northern New Jersey and the broader Northeast.

Why This Matters
Our work has always been powered by volunteers — ordinary people giving extraordinary care. With Kubota’s national spotlight and investment behind us, we’re able to:
-
Expand our week-long community service initiative throughout North Jersey
-
Assist more elderly and disabled residents who otherwise go without help
-
Mobilize volunteers faster with safer, more efficient equipment
-
Support veteran-focused initiatives and partner networks
-
Elevate visibility for the needs of underserved communities
This moment represents not just a win for our nonprofit, but for the entire New Jersey turf, landscaping, veteran support, and volunteer community.
